Audreys Nursery!!!

The Nursery is finally complete! Derek and his Dad put up the beadboard Sat. I painted and stained the bead board and walls the week before (like a crazy woman!) Heidi hand designed and made the quilt on the crib, what an awesome lady! (BFF) We tied in browns and were able to use some things from Kates old nursery like the mobile and diaper holder. We decided to "get creative" and paint the top rail pink! It wasn't taking the stain right, and we wanted to be done so... tell me what you think????
here is her new fun swing and the boring wall!

This is the last wall, with the old letters I made like 4 months ago! Still using Audrey!
So many may want to know why I am not holding this baby right now! I had a CRAZY weekend with early labor 36 1/2 wks. So I had bleeding on Sunday went in at a 3 cm, and needed to be checked out due to the gest diabetes. So I checked out fine and was told I was fully effaced and ready so I needed to take it easy to get to Friday 37 wks. Well that whole night and into Monday (no sleep) I was contracting 4 min apart for 7 hours! I decided since the hospital was 30 min away we needed to go. We got Dereks Mom @ 5 am and took off! Well I noticed in the car they were "letting up" but when we got there they saw them strong and weak and I essentially got out of a pattern and was sent home! I went to over a 4 in the hour I was there, but they didnt keep me because I was 36 wks. So they got there way and things have calmed somewhat and I am still having contractions off and on, and I lost my plug. So now its a waiting game, but if it happens again they will keep me. As anyone that has had babies knows, I am a rainbow of emotions... Stress, anger, excitement, fear, swelling (is that an emotion?) All in all, it turned out for the best! everyone but me is really sick with bad head colds, and we got the nursery put back together! So in a couple more days or up to 2 weeks (kill me now) the kids should be healthy, and the baby will be more mature. Its hard not to be so selfish right now, but in the end its for the best! This gest Diabetes makes the waiting game so much harder! Derek has been wonderful of course and taken me out a lot to get my mind off of things! We do FINALLY get to see Angels and Demons tomorrow on our hot date! AHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I love the nursery. Good luck with the labor, I can't wait to see baby Audrey. I wonder if she will have a flare for the dramatic?

Hi Kemari!
I was just browsing your blog and had to stop in and comment. Your nursey is SOOO cute. I absolutely love it. Sounds like you are on the countdown. Hang in there. She'll be here before you know it and you'll wonder where the time is flying to...being that my baby is now 8 months and wanting to crawl! :) Looking forward to getting together sometime. Love you.
