I thought I would post our old one since the new ones are coming next week!

Take a deep breath...

AHHHHHHH!!!! Life is awesome and overwhelming right now! I need to get to a place I can relax! I dont think that will happen until May. I love my family more than anything in the world, and I hope that I am still the Mom I was before all of this last year. I am just near nervous breakdown daily. Short of announcing anything, my hormones are crazy and my house is never staying clean, I dont want to give up, but I need a break!!! I know I just got back from one, I just feel like nothing is going my way this week! I do have the best Husband, Mom friends and Sister,(please go to This is my life and my love blog and see her amazing fam pics) They seem to get me, and I am thankful for them. I wish other people realized what I have going on in my life, I dont "expect" them to think of that, but it would be nice. I love Derek and I feel bad for him and dealing with certain people right now. He is so wonderful, and perfect! All I know is I am grateful for MY family, and the Gospel. That is another weird thing in my life right now, people are all over the place with politics and religion! I wish they wouldnt make life so complicated. The Savior loves us all, the spirit can testify of it. I dont like disecting it all. Its simple. I feel like screaming! I realize though sometimes there is nothing to say or do you just have to watch people go to a place you dont understand, and your heart just breaks. I know I have lived my personal hell this last year. Oct. 14th 2007 Conners 7th bday, was the day we lost Luke. It is still hard to believe I went through all of this. I hope I am not doomed to repeat this fate a third time. I am thankful that I know Heavenly Father loves me. Through this all, I know that & feel that, I know I can endure, I just hope I am the same or better person at the end of it!

Conner Paul Nielson is 8!

My baby is getting soooo big! The minute i knew I was pregnant with Conner, I could feel his strength! I knew Heavenly Father had an awesome mission for him! Conner entered this world on Sat 10-14-00 @9#14oz, 23 inch long! One day early! He was born in the best year, and will always be the same age as the year it is! I have already posted his party, and soon his Baptism, but I wanted to post some old pictures of him! he is such an amazing child and I am thankful everyday for him! We love how he slept through the night solid @ 1 month, and has been following that trend ever since! Potty trained @ 2, no binky. A wonderful friend & student. Top in his class, very smart. He is a great big brother and wants us to have 17 siblings for him! He is a peacemaker, and looks up to his cousin Nick for everything. He is so excited for scouts! He has a ton of friends, and loves to play legos and video games, and is dying for basketball. He is to be 6'6", and I am thrilled to see what an amazing man he will be. I already have friends who want thier daughters to marry him! He is so sweet and cuddly also very particular about his hair! He plans FHE every week and always reminds us! He loves sharing his bday w/ one of his angel brothers Luke, and always talks about them. He has such a simple faith. We love his laugh! WE LOVE YOU CONNER PAUL NIELSON

Conners 8th birthday party!!!!

Every year we start out with only a couple friends going to do something simple, and then we end up taking "eleven" kids to see Beverly Hills Chihuaua! They actually did great, Kate fell asleep! Conner has SOOOO many boys his age at Church and school, even neighbors that go to private school, we did actually cut a lot out! He had a blast and his closest friend Logan spent the night too! They went to bed @ midnight, up @ 6am and are enduring the freezing BYU game right now! Im sure they'll crash tonight! I am SOOOOO incredibly glad Super Saturday is over I cannot even express it! Plus everyone paid me! It was a success! I am ready to move on with life! now its just Evans class Halloween party, I am Room Mom, and family pictures this week! Conners real birthday is Tuesday, so we will go to dinner, I cant believe he is eight and getting baptised Nov 1st! party highlights: Burp and Fart contest, every toy weapon in the house used in a battle in the front yard, Pizza, Cake, Presents and of course trying to get all the kids to the Movie "legally"!

This crazy week!

Since the minute I got home, I havent stopped! I have never had so many little things to do in my life! Super Sat., Conners Bday, helping at a party, field trips Room Mom, helping in classes where I am not the room mom etc... some people can handle this, not me! I am taking a mental health day today, atleast half of the day, to get housework done! Kate is missing dance and Gymnastics, am I a bad Mom? I am gonna snap here at any moment, I can only imagine what my mother in law thought of the house last night while she babysat! Derek took me to the Weezer and Angels and Airwaves concert, it was soooo fun! Weezer is hilarious, and I loved singing along! I loved when they brought up the local fan band and sang along, it was a blast! just right not too loud or offensive!

The Nielsons' NEAT vacation!

Well we are back! It is always so depressing, it sucks to see all the work I have to do tomorrow! All I want is to lay down! We had so much fun, and walked a ton, we are tired! We stopped at my parents house on the way to and from which breaks up the drive by 4 hrs. then we drove to anaheim and stayed at the Portofino, it has kids suites, which we like to always have, but they did not have adequate laundry! The 2 machines for 2 bldgs were broken! Also no free breakfast, we have always had it, but we realized how much it adds up when you have to pay for another meal! We did 2 days of Disneyland, one @ California Adventure, Disney trick or treat nite, which is limited tickets to a halloween party @ Cali Adventure! The kids dressed up as Clone troopers and Sleeping Beauty and we got candy, rode rides, and saw all the characters dressed up after hrs! we went to Legoland, 2 aquariums, one legoland and one the Aquarium of the Pacific, Seal Beach, and Universal. We were the only americans at universal, it was all Europeans, Aussies, and Japanese! The kids didnt much like Universal but we tried it out! Here is eveyones favorites from the trip: Kate, we underestimated! she loved every ride and would cry if she couldnt go on one because she is a "Big" girl! she did Space and splash mtn, also Matterhorn her favorite was the new toy story midway mania, The new family favorite as well! She got her pics with all her fav princesses and loved to see the animals at the aquariums. Evan loves the thrill and the easy rides and he loved the dinner show we went to Billy hill and the hillbillies. we bought him the CD, he LOVED it! it was so cute to see him clap along! we love his manurisms and his sense of humor. He loved legoland and the Mummy ride @ universal! Conner finally did Tower of Terror, and he had a blast! he wished he would of got to see some of his favorite disney characters,and got more autographs! he loved the Pixar parade and the beach! Derek was amazing (as always) he took the kids without complaint and had a blast! He even did the potty trips for me! It was really hot out and he was always buying a cool drinks for us! we always have to get the dole pineapple drinks by the TIKI room! We did love Bubba Gump Shrimp Co in Long Beach for our new find! We finished our trip in St George, the boys went to my brother Brants and did Rock Band while I did laundry and hung out with my Mom! then we grabbed in-n-out an went to the Coral Hills park! It was so nice to come home and see Hallie! Now I have Super Sat this week, I am in charge of (Kill me), and Conners bday party friday! back to life!
