Our fun anniversary weekend away/ Conners Blue and Gold Ball!

Conner had to dress up this year as 5 things for his dens skit! Abe, Ind. Jones, Daniel Boone, a nerd and a revolutionary war soldier! (UGH) He did great recieved his Bobcat award. Too bad I was the only one there, everyone else had Strep!

By the way... Mom and Dad made the costumes with Conners "help", it was fun!

In my opinion an awful picture... but the best one from the weekend of us! Here we are at Dave and Busters in Westminster with the Gedges

My old High School! Standley Lake home of the Gators, class of '96

Here is my childhood home! 10050 Moore St. Westminster, Colorado! A "few" changes, the neighborhood aged drastically, but it was great to remember the old days! TMI Alert! Derek and I first kissed on the front porch...

Dereks old house in Arvada, with a new paint color!

The best couple in the whole world! We LOVE these guys! Julie and Kelsey Gedge. Thanks for a fun weekend! Loved your house and kids!

I took crappy pictures this trip, but here is one of Derek at the Denver Museum of Art and Science, it was an educational day and we loved it, minus my swollen feet, why did I choose the Uggs? They dont do well with Pregnant women and walking around for 3 Hours!

This is a beautiful view from the museum, where I was putting my feet up! this is a beautiful view of downtown Denver. Turns out, the very room where I was chillin', and snapped this photo is where Pres. Obama is signing that new Bill into effect today, the $800 million dollar stimulus (I wanted to post my opinion on that but I dont want the stupid bantor I sometimes get, nor do I have the time to write my feelings! A weekend away from the kids gives you time to catch up on these things!)

Here was our first stop, the best pizza in the west, well world for me so, far Beau Jos!

All in all, we had an amazing time! It was so great to see the old places and the new! The resteraunts are amazing there and it was beautiful! The day we left was 55! We missed the kids towards the end, but we did see 3 movies (Shopaholic, not that into you, and Austrailia) Ate at CB & Potts, Rock bottom brewery, Beau Jos, Dave and Busters amongst probably too many others... we got Cherry Chip cookies from King Soopers and of course saw the Gedges, oh words cannot express how much we miss them! In the end, we wished we would of gone to a mall and walked around Ketner Lake, but the day we had that planned was the swollen museum day so I didnt want to walk anymore! That Lake has so much significance to me! The Malls ROCK there! It was also great to sleep in! Maybe we will return in the Summer with the kids, it all depends on Baby Audreys nature!

Ten Wonderful years with Derek!

Here is a recent one of us!
The New house in Payson, Utah... we love this house and neighborhood, its home.

Here is one from last Summer at Onion Days in Payson!

Heres your first moment with Kate, 3 days before your 29th birthday! March 21, '05

The first house we built, oh the memories! 5 yrs here! We moved in 2 weeks before Evan was born. This is in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Here you are with Evan! June 20, '02. So cuddly! Our baby Dibby! He sure did come out a grumpy old man!

Here you are with Conner, first time Dad! October 14, '00

Here we are on our first cruise to the Carribean!

This is us in Tulum, Mexico viewing the Mayan Ruins in Jan '07

Here we are as a family in July of '05! I love this picture! we were all so tan!

I can't believe how fast these years have flown by! By far the best decision ever was to marry Derek Februaury 12th, 1999, in the Denver, CO. LDS temple! There have been so many awesome times, and some hard ones, but it was always Derek who was there for me, and gets me through! He is a direct blessing from the Lord, and I know we were MFEO (Made for each other!) A perfect match! I wish I had his patience, and "nice" gene! He truly loves people, and is extremely loyal to his friends! I love that his faith in the Lord is strong and simple, he just is amazing. He is such an example to our children of what a good Dad, Man and Priesthood holder is, granted he spoils us all rotten! I love that he Loves the Dutch and all things associated from his mission, we have adopted it as our home country, even though only I am Dutch and only he speaks it! There are of course too many pictures and memories to choose them all, so I am posting the first, best pictures I came across, and I need to scan wedding ones to post later, we are old! Well, lets be real Derek has to scan the pictures, and he is not home! So here are my top ten in ten years with Derek list. I am sure I will want to change them or add more after I read it! I am already regretting no Disney pictures on here! That is our thing! Oh well here goes!
1. Being sealed for time and all eternity in the Denver temple
2. Having our 3 1/2 beautiful babies together, and our 2 angel sons, these were the moments I felt closer to you than ever, or closer to anyone for that matter...
3. Achieving our dream life together, didn't think Utah would be in the cards, but it is and we love it! Dream job, dream house, dream commute (2 min coasting downhill)
4. Family trips, including all 10+ trips to the "mothership" of Disneyland, and the amazing ones to come!
5. Watching you have the career you love and meeting your goals
6. Our lifesaving dates everyother week, it has been worth every crappy babysitter, and dime to be with you even if its to Costco alone!
7. That even though we have completly different personalities, we have the same tastes! Especially in Music (minus The Cure) and Entertainment! I loved all the concerts with you, its the only time I see you bust a move! You also agree with everything I say, let me have remote, and admit I am always right
8. I have never had to doubt how much you love me and how committed we are to each other!
9. The sweet surprises you give me, send me and email me! The flowers mean the world, but you know that!
10. That you have not changed (minus a "couple" of pounds) in ten years! You are who you are and there is no show, ever! Your eyes still close when you smile, which is all the time, and your SOOO ticklish. I wish I could be more like you and not fret the little things. Its not just me, you are a blessing to everyone you meet, and I LOVE YOU!
