It was a good day....

As everyone knows this baby thing has been quite the rollercoaster and a completely out of the blue trial for us! We went to a new Dr. for this one and haven't been impressed (he completely forgot who I was twice and I had to re-explain my dreadful story to him), but we went to his partner today and fell in love with Dr. Parker! He was AMAZING and thorough, everything we needed! The heartbeat was strong and consistent and we got an ultrasound to check vitals, didn't see any problems or anything too specific although we didn't "see anything", our impression was girl but the real ultrasound will be Monday the 5th in one week. Can't wait to post that day! We were so thrilled to see a heartbeat and movement and a perfect pregnancy. Since we don't know what happened with Luke and Hunter we are hoping this means its going to be better! I am all nerves, but now that I feel the baby, there is more relief. Just for anyone following the poll, we are both getting really set on Audrey (the middle name a surprise for someone who may read this) but there is a story there and we are feeling drawn to it. Ian ( Ian Andrew Nielson I.A.N) is still my #1, Derek will be stuck with it because he won't contribute at all there! I am now off to see BedTime stories for FHE, hopefully its good...popcorn sounds great!

Oh colorado how I miss you! I have been thinking a lot about you lately! I hope to see you soon! It will never be the Colorado of my youth, but it still holds a place in my heart! These pictures are of my elementary school Witt Elem, the lake across the street from my house Standley Lake, I attended the Ward and HS named after it! and beautiful Boulder Colo. We all know this view as we enter town! I also added a picture of thunder bay @ water world (the best water park in america, what the crap is 7-peaks, when you've had this) and then the beau jos pizza place in Idaho Springs, CO. this was where Derek and I went on our 2nd date! Sorry I just had to "go there" today!

HOME SWEET HOME!!! This is the Denver, Colorado temple. Derek and I were married here nearly 10 years ago. This past year I spent a lot of time pondering what it means to have an eternal family. We have recieved many answers, and much peace. We are so grateful for all of our blessings, especially this time of year as we focus more on the Savior. Everyday I feel stronger somehow, but also afraid of "WHO" I will be if this pregnancy fails. We are spending so much time in prayer, trying to "Plead" for this baby to make it. This time around Miss Kate is on board and is so excited for her "sister "Jasmine", who will come out wearing a purple gown and will have golden locks of hair like her!" I terrifies me to have to tell the kids again, the boys are already prepared, but Kate would be confused. I am telling myself all the things I am supposed to, and I do truly feel it will work out this time. We know in the end it is already going to be what it will, and we need to trust the Lord. I keep telling myself that, and trying so hard not to "get excited." I know that sounds depressing, but I dont know how I will be if this happens again! I'd like to say strong, but a part of me will feel like something will be taken away from me. I hope in the end we will have a happy, healthy baby and can just move on. I have so many questions as to why this trial has been given to me. Its definetly "Reshaping" me. I think I will gain the full perspective of why later.

Today was great! I am 14 weeks. I tried to hold it together when I heard the heartbeat a second time today, but in the back of my mind I was beating down my excitement, telling myself that I heard Luke and Hunters at this stage. I did lose 3 lbs, and everything "seems" perfect! I truly feel we will have another child. I just hope its Now! Can I be selfish? I won't do this again. One thing I have gained from this is the stronger desire for this child. I can feel it SO strongly. Its a driving force in me, otherwise I would not subject myself to this experience a third time in a year! My body is not holding up! I never lose the baby weight easily anyways, but I am at my worst right now. Like I said, I am ready to move on with all aspects of my life! the other exciting thing is that my sister is due 2 weeks exactly after me! I am June 5th, she is the 19th. My doctor is seeing me in 2 weeks for an ultrasound and then weekly, until we pass the danger zone. So I should know really soon what the baby is, although it is usually the most exciting day of pregnancy for me, it is my biggest fear this time, as we found no heartbeats on the boys at the gender ultrasound. So of course all I want for Christmas is a heartbeat, and a sense of peace.

Rock Band Dudes!

These aren't the BEST pictures, but I had to take them while they didn't know it! I can't believe I haven't posted anything on rock band yet as it has taken over the house! The boys have almost mastered Medium, and as you can see they have their own style! The boy in the middle is Logan Sorensen Conners best friend! Evan has to go get his special hat to wear backwards when he plays, hes so cute! If we play as a family, I usually sing, Dereks Guitar, Evans bass, and Conners drum, Kates our Clapper, or Dancer! Its fun times!

"Once in Royal David's City"

Here are some pictures from the Relief Society Christmas Dinner I was in charge of last night, I couldn't get a great one of the tables, since I only remembered pictures after the program! We did Purple, Silver and White with the theme "Once in Royal Davids City" focusing on Christ's Royal birth. There were five short talks and five musical numbers, it was great. Shanna Bussio is on the board as the Food coordinator, and took dinner on! We had pork tenderloin, rice pilaf, salad, home made rolls and pumpkin cake, it was very good! The highlight of the evening to me was hearing my new neighbor Bro Caras in the ward sing, he was out of sight! I love crossing these major things off the list! The picture of my friends were also my twilight night group, minus one, and the one standing didn't go, but they were funny and had some fun conversations which carried into the hall from the microphone right next to them! Haha!
